Description:Many Americans, like you, me, our friends, simply want to show support for our troops. Let's start this week and continue each and every Friday until our troops finally come home, by WEARING RED ON FRIDAY. Let's make the United States a sea of red.
If every one of us who supports our troops and looks forward to their safe and speedy return shares this with coworkers, fellow students, friends and family, it won't be too long before the US looks like the bleachers of a University of Maryland football game on Friday's. I look forward to passing you on the street and sharing a smile because we know why we are wearing red.

Support the men and women who sacrifice for us.
We need to support our troops! They volunteered to protect us all and are doing a wonderful job. I cannot wait for them to return. We must allow them to finish the job and come how in victory. This war is the right thing to do.

Great idea! Red on Fridays! They should be home already--I heard on the news the other day where there was a man who was on his 4th tour of Iraq and he was due to come home very soon--I think 15 days or so. He died, I think it was a bomb went off or something like that. :( People shouldn't have to have but more than 1 or 2 tours there. This war should not have taken place from the start.

Let our troops know we support them - spread this to all Americans
I ahve been wearing red on Fridays for over a year now, closer to two! I even have a patriotic tree in my living room window in support of the troops. They deserve our support and soooo much more! God Bless our Troops!
And on the note of agreeing or not agreeing...it's not about whether we agree with the war or not, or if we support the president...it is ALL about the TROOPS and them deserving our support! They are doing their job...a job A LOT of Americans would never consider doing.
I WATCHED THE INTERVIEW WITH HILLARY AND OBAMA ON MTV LAST NIGHT AND THEY HAD A SERVICE MAN THAT WAS BACK FROM IRAC AND COULD NOT EVEN GET HIS DRIVERS LICENSE IN NEW YORK. THE LADY AT THE DMV SAID THAT HE DID NOT DO ANYTHING FOR HER. SHE SHOULD OF BEEN FIRED. WE AS AMERICANS SEND OUR CHILDREN INTO WAR AND SHOULD SUPPORT THEM 100% WEITHER WE AGREE WITH THE COMANDER AND CHIEF OR NOT. THESE ARE SOME-ONES CHILDREN. IF MY SON WAS OLD ENOUGH AND HAD TO SERVE IN IRAC. I WOULD HOPE THAT ALL AMERICANS WOULD SUPPORT HIM OR HER. WEARING RED HAS BEEN A BIG THING AT OUR OFFICE AND MY HUSBANDS PLACE OF WORK. EVERYONE RED BLOODED AMERICAN SHOULD BE PROUD TO WEAR RED!
Supporting our troops is an issue separate from whether you agree or not with the decision to send our troops to Iraq. Let our troops know we support them
oh thank you, someone that agrees with me... whether you agree with the mission or not, i'd be supporting someone who's risking their lives defending the values that their country upholds.
