Description:

Did anyone have a clue what was in the bailout plan? Did you know what the politicians were going to do with all that money? I believe we were all taken for a ride. We, the people, should have had the chance to voted on it. I believe they made this "plan" too fast and voted on it too quickly for anyone to actually understand what was in it. I hear now, that there where earmarks in there that did nothing for the purpose it was made for. I think all the politicians that voted for the bailout ought to be fired. They are suppose to work for us.

unless they are planning to give all the money the little man lost in the stock markets and 401k's we should bail out no one. the people losing there houses and livelyhoods are not getting bailed out. we have gotten ripped off is what has happened and once again we all set back and let it happen

There are congressmen that have suggested that bills be clean bills, which is where there is only 1 item on a bill. No extra's just the main bill. Which I am completely for. They shouldn't mix ridiculous bills in with any important one just to get them passed.

Unfortunately, earmarks are a part of every piece of legislation. That's why during times of election, candidates can say "you voted against saving children." Usually that's because "save the children" is attached to a bigger bill like "kill all old people." It has become an unfortunate unavoidable part of American legislation.

Keep a watch out in your email for this week's newsletter for a better look at the bailout and what was included in the passed version.
