I think that they should stick to how it is in the book which is that she hears his voice in her head. It might be that I hate Robbert Pattinson as Edward but really i just feal they should somewhat stick to the book.

i think that edward should be in the movie a lot much more than in the book because he is gone for so long in the book, he needs to be in the movie more he is amazing!

Stick to the book most definately. They really messed around with twilight not sticking to the book so with this new director he should really really be more true to the book. they should only show edward at his parts and when she jumps off the cliff and she sees him in the water. those are the only edward parts so stay true to the book!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

i think they need to stay true to the book! maybe have a couple scenes of edward and his pain while away but thats it. its not that i dont like edward i jus would like them to stick to the storyline

I also think that it should stay true to the book as though we love Edward being together with Bella, it is more passionable to see "go" nearly to the end to get them together again, and then we can say, finnaly, Finally ..... doh, things can not always be easy, right????

I think they should stay true to the book as well. I know how much everyone missed Edward & wondered when the heck he'd be back while reading "New Moon", but if they change it for the movie we won't feel that longing that we, with Bella, were supposed to feel throughout the novel. And then it'll also take so much away from their reunion at the end. Not to mention that this is the novel that sets up the friendship/relationship between Bella & Jabob, which is also extremely important to the entire series, & wouldn't be possible if Edward was constantly 'there' during this novel. Stay true to the book & honor Stephanie's work!! =-)

Yeah i think he should just stay a voice in her head. The point is we are not supposed to see him(we are supposed to miss him just like bella) and it would make seeing him later that much better.

Voice fo sho....it would totally change everythink, cause he isn't really there, so that would break the "it will be as if i'd never exsisted" thing if she sees him all the time. And going to find him in Volturra wouldn't be as powerful of a scene

Keep just Edward's voice. Please stay truer to New Moon than Twilight was. Why change something so simple. Don't take stuff out, only to add things that weren't there to begin with. I also cried when Edward left, and of course, knowing he does come back, I think it would have a bigger impact if we don't SEE him again until Italy.

VOICE. seeing him would make it weird for people who didnt read the book and just watch the movies and he should stay true to the book. and for the team jacob fans its his turn to have the big role edward had it in twilight and in the other movies they are both there for the whole time... so its only fair :]

YESSS, I agree that Edward's voice should stay "in her head"...

I think they should stick to the book...sorry people (those who want to see Rob get screen time), buuut... Edward's departure from Bella's life is such an important part of this book, and is brought up right through to the end of the saga. There could be flashbacks, or she could dream (day/night) about him if they want Rob to get screen time. New Moon is/should be about her developing relationship with Jacob !!!

They should stick to the book, it will just get too cheesy if Edward "appears" to her instead of just being like her "conscience"

If they put more of Edward into the movie it will just ruin the story. The whole point of the book is to show how much she really is in love with him and too build her relationship with Jacob. If they change that it will only hinder the movie. The book is the best and they need to stick to that 100%!!

I am so looking forward to the next part of the story in movie form!!Even tho Edward is not such a huge part of it(AAAWWW!!) I am hoping that they stay as close to the book as possible.I cried so hard too,and could not put down the book and cried even more with relief when they were reunited!!.

New Moon would be no good without LOTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS of Edward. Twilight was different from the book, so they definitely should add more Edward. WE'll can't wait till he's back!

I think the next twilight movie will be good except that Edward's not in it. I am looking forward to seeing bella cliff diving though!! that'd be awesome!!!

Ugh, girl, I cried too. It was so frustrating to get thru 300 pages to have him back. I ncouldn't stop reading until he was there, which that kind of reading is hard to do with a toddler. I actually cheated and looked ahead to make sure he even came back and that I wouldn't be completely disappointed. Anywho, I think with the movie they could do a little back and forth and reflect a bit on what edward had done in those 7 months, again it is only a movie and that is one long book to be adding stuff too. They could just do like the book and skip thru some months. I don't know what they'll do but I sure can't wait.
