I am Apostlic Penecostal and I'm proud of it..I get made fun of but GOD didn't say it would be easy to live for him..it was my choice and I'm gonna stick with it.
i came across the thought one day, that when we go to heaven, your up there walking the streets of gold. I would hate the fact that when i play a round of golf, i get a hole in one evry time, or playing poker, and you win every time. wouldnt that get boring? because heaven is supposed to be perfect right? or can somebody prove this to me. has anybody been there before?
What does it mattter and whose business is it? I find this a weird site. For the record, I am proud to say I am a NONBELIEVER. Whether you want to call it an Athiest, Agnostic or the word I like the best, as Bill Maher suggested, a RATIONALIST. Myrna, now I know why you asked that question to me and my buddies, since I see on your profile you signed on this site. I looked at your profile because Emily said you were from NY on the Joy site and I doubted it, so I doublechecked. I could of sworn you had said San Bernadino, and I am right. My father hikes up those mountains with the Sierra Club by the way. Oh, and for the record, he too is an Athiest, though not originally and he is an 85 year old WW11 Vet, quite intelligent and in great shape, physically and mentally. I also want to say that I liked Diane's post below. I too think it's good to have diversity in a family and for friends, and certainly, no one should be forcing or ramming their religious views down someone's throats. Separation of church and state!!!
I am a southern baptist. But when we get to Heaven i doubt we will have name tags that say Jennifer-baptist.Diane-Catholic. I really don't think it matters as long as you believe Jesus is God's son.He died on the cross to save us.
Hi I have a variety of religions in my family, which I think is cool because we don't pressure each other to believe in each other's religion we just learn from each one,I have catholic, my late grandpa ,I have christian,my late grandma,my mom, late dad,and me. my uncle and aunt are mormon.Religion is cool as long as no harm comes to anyone and no-one is pressured into it respect is great to have!
Take a look at what CS Lewis has to say about heaven will be like. I really hope it's like that.
