Ok, there are votes saying that Angel was her true love, and others that say Spike was, but I have yet to find one saying that Riley was. That's my stand point, I think that Riley was the truest of all her lovers and that he left too suddenly and she got over it way to fast. So, what do you think? Which one of her long time lovers was your favorite?
I feel Cordy was a much better match for Angel. They really loved each other and with all the chaos it was a shame they never got a chance at a proper relationship.
Spike, him all the way.
its deffently spike because even before he got his soul and before the chip spike loved buffy. and he really showed it. Its was deffently spike.
Spike of course! It wasn't just the man that loved Buffy his Demon loved her as well!
of course it it Spike! He fought for his soul for her!
Angel had the purest love for Buffy. Yeah Spike loved her without a soul, which is not really possible but I'm not getting in that argument, and then went off and got one of his own, again something I doubt he planned. But at the end of it Angel gave up his humanity, the chance to finally be with her, so she could live, even it was for a few more months. And that says more than running off to get a soul.
What? Are you seriouse? Ok first off he did plan it even Joss said he did in the special Features of season 6, seconde Why would he go and get his chip out when he could already kill Buffy if he wanted to, Third Spike also tells Buffy that getting his soul was for her when she discovers he has one in 7th season. When she asks why he did it and this is right from the script mind you he say's "Buffy, shame on you. Why does a man do what he mustn't? For her. To be hers. To be the kind of man who would nev... to be a kind of man." and then right before he lays his arms on the cross he says "She shall look on him with forgiveness, and everybody will forgive and love. He will be loved." Even evil Spike was not that good at lieing especially to Buffy. But crazy souled Spike could never lie to her. Even in that episode he didn't lie he told her he wasn't going to tell her whats up with him,and he also said that the ghosts in the basements made him crazy which was all true just not the whole truth. Forth Angel did not do what he did for Buffy, it had nothing to do with Buffy it had to do with bringing down Wolfram and Heart just like he wanted to do in second season. And lets also not forget that spike did die for Buffy so she and the world could have a better life. Loving without a soul is very possible in the Buffy world if you had watched Angel enough times you would of known that.
I compleatly agree
I Agree. =D
As much as it kills me to say this! Spike has to be. He gave up being Evil for her and got a soul. Angel loved her because he had a soul forced upon him.
I still think to this day that Angel was her truest love, spike did come a very close second, as for Riley, he did love Buffy but she didnt love him, well not in the way he wanted. He was normal,Buffy liked something exciting about her men and Riley didnt give her that, he just gave her normal.I know the shows are no longer on, but if you were a true fan then they will always live on.I have not gotton rid of all my collection just because the show ended,im just has much into the shows now as i was then.
Does it really matter who her truest love was since it is no longer on perhaps they should bring it make or a new spinoff that would be awesome.
