I think a lot of McCain and Obama followers are going to be upset in November. I know a LOT of people who are writing in Ron Paul, who has a chance to put a wrench in these candidates' machines.
In contrast to both Obama and McCain, House Rep. Ron Paul is completely AGAINST this bailout bill, has been arguing against it since before its incecption...
I'm surprised (maybe I shouldn't be) that more people aren't more angry about the fact that these two candidates for President of the United States, both voted for this bill.
I completely agree that the bailout was a terrible idea. We all know it's going to cost more. Unfortunately the democrats and republicans have ruled for far too long. Maybe things will change in the next election.
i couldnt agree more! i love ron paul. we disagree on a few things. But, Mr. Paul doesnt get the time of day he deserves. he has an opinion and stays on it. no flipfloping, no BS. He is straight forward on where he stands. Too bad hes not in big with all the special interests like the other two Big WIG candidates are
Stop the spread of underground and masked Socialism. Vote McCain/Palin. If you like big government, high taxes and limited liberties vote For Obama. Also don't forget one of Obamas campaign staff was head of Fannie Mae, and took a huge bonus just before they tanked!(Probably to donate to Obamas campaign!)and they(The Grandstanding Democrats) say it's all the Republican's fault that the economy is FUBAR. If Obama does not trust you with your rights, why trust him with your vote!
if i am correct obama was 2nd on fannie mae's most contribuated list? the mans name your looking for i believe is Johnson? He was the CEO back in the BOOMIN 90's and left in 98' i believe with a cool 18 million package!!!! McCain/Palin
what a whack job you are amy w.. shouldn't have been surprised you're from MS..since you have internet access, check the FACTS.. not the lies and hatred that you spew
Obama talks a good game and says what he thinks we all want to hear. What I am not hearing are his solutions, I hear accusations, I hear how he could not get his voice heard when he points out times he says he was right, if he couldn't succeed as senator I don't see him being supported and getting the job done as president. John McCain has EARNED his advancement and I will certainly vote to give it to him. The problem with this country has become buy new and toss out the old, if you think about it the old had much better quality and lasted longer. I find Obama becomes more disrespectful and arrogant as his popularity grows imagine that as President. I don't think McCain wants to keep the war "ALIVE" I think he would want an end that will not repeat our withdraw from Vietnam where so many suffered as a result.
Obama perhaps is from old Swiss-family. I think he'd be a good president, that's my personal opinion. Swiss mentality is not War but peace ! So I hope most of american will wote for him. Sorry for my bad english....but I'm doing my best. James m.
Obama wouldnt know what to do if this Country was attacked again by terrorist again. McCain is someone we can trust to make the right decisions. I for one do not want a Muslim running the free world, and he has even admitted it on national tv!!!
Actually, he's admitted to being BOTH!!! That's even scarier. If he can't figure out what religion he is, how is he ever going to be good enough to make decisions for me or you?!
I believe McCain will make a fine president. The more I've learn't about him, the more I like him. I think he will make good decisions for this country and will make America a safer place to live. McCain is definitely the better way to vote.
I think John McCain would make and excellent President. He has actually been through and felt the pain of war. We need someone that knows from experience what this country needs. He is an honorable and heroic man and should be praised for what he has done for this country. We need "change" alright, we need someone who has compassion for our wonderful nation, and that would be the only choice, John McCain!!!!!!!
I find Obama's idealism hilariously funny, hes like every other politician in history all style and no substance. McCain, is a more interesting man, he would be an okay president and he at least has some substance to stand on. But this is just the opinion of an independent observer.
If you want four more years of war, an economy that sucks and hopelessness for everyone except oil company executives...and for the U.S. to go directly to hell in a handbasket...vote for McCain/Palin!
The economy will probably be the same for the next four years, The wars will probably still be going, and the oil execs are not making a lot of money now!!!! But if you enjoy "SOCIALISM" good luck with your vote for Obama/Biden
Obama+Biden=Change
NEWS FLASH:
McCain does not want to deal with issues.
McCain wants to carry on Bush's Policy.

10% back to higher education and how would they spend it. Would we get a plan on the usage and a report card on its return or will it be as most money is spent on campuses accross the country. Personal "PORK" projects with no oversites. I love paying $178 for a used text book with no future trade in value....

I like McCain. Obama isn't experianced enough. Neither of them is perfect, but I would rather McCain be prezzie.
In total agreement; it's kinda like picking the lesser of two evils.
