Who should Buffy choose?6190 Votes
Description:Issue:    Alright I made a campaign a few weeks ago hoping to get people behind a Buffy movie. I have been very pleased with the amount of new members and their comments. In thinking about a possible new movie one question keeps coming up. Should Buffy ultimately end up with Angel or Spike? Belief:           I believe that if they do make a Whedonverse movie to tie up the loose ends of the plots of Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, that Buffy should choose once and for all which vampire she loves the most.            For anyone who isn’t familiar with this love triangle here is the most objective synopsis I can give. Angel was Buffy’s first love. He was her guide and protector in Sunny Dale until they had sex and he lost his soul turning into the evil Angelus. Then he tormented her for a season until he got his soul back just before she had to send him too hell. He, of course, got out of hell but had to bail because he got his own series set in Los Angeles. In one of the early episodes of Angel he gets some demon blood in a cut on his hand and is turned human. Buffy happens to be in Los Angeles at the time and it looks like they can now be together because his curse is truly lifted. Unfortunately, he is a champion that knows his job is not yet complete so he goes to an oracle that reverses time and Buffy has no knowledge of the one amazing day they had together.   In one of the final episodes of Buffy she does insinuate that they could be together someday.            Spike arrived on the scene in the season two premiere of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He looks and talks like Billy Idol and has very heavy influence from Luke Perry’s character, Pike, in the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie starring Kristi Swanson. His character was actually on the show much longer than Angel’s though evil for much longer. In season 4 the military puts a chip in his head that shocks him if he tries to hurt humans. He then discovers he can hurt Demons and becomes a pseudo good guy at the same time falling in love with Buffy even though he kind hates her too. At the end of season six he goes to some sort of demon shaman and goes through trials and torture to get his soul back. He and Buffy also had tons of sex because Spike was all about her and she was kind of tweaked out on account of the fact that she died went to heaven and was ripped back to earth by a magic spell. But that is another story.            So Whedon tried to tie this up by having Spike and Angel go to Italy only to find that Buffy was dating some immortal guy called “the immortal.â€Â I personally thought this was lame because you don’t see Buffy. I think Sara Michelle Gellar had other obligations at the time.            So I think the fans should decide. If you think Buffy should be with her first love and you still remember that song that they used to play when they were together then vote for the Vampire with a soul who helps the helpless Angel. If you feel that Buffy and Spike’s relationship was better developed in the plot and that he was more true to her because he sought out his soul and ended up later sacrificing himself to save the world then vote for the witty British rock star Vamp William the Bloody, aka Spike. Oh and I forgot, if they "tie some loose end", then with what's been going on in the season 8 comic then I defnitely think one of these loose end should have Buffy and Faith sleeping together and finally setting things straight (no pun intended) and then just move on from there.
I think she should be with neither one of them. This isn't a "relationship" with neither one of them. I think the one she should be with is either not known yet or someone like Xander though he's kinda more like big brother now that's true. But she defintely shouldn't be with a vampire (as hot as it can be sometimes, lol).

Even though i love Spike to bits it is so clear that Buffy was well and truly in love with Angel but she considered Spike important to her.
Buffy doesn't love Spike. She should end up with Angel. Spike should end up with ME.

Are you serious?Angel left season 3 Buffy?and came back season 4 Pangs and Angel didnt want her to know he was there,Yoko Factor to say sorry for being a big jerk to her,season 5 Forever to her moms funeral(what about the long illness?)oh and the last episodes season 7 wow hes been there huh?Buffy moved on to Spike like Angel moved on to Darla,Cordelia (why didnt Angel and Buffy have a baby together? Darla and Angel did so thats Angel soulmate Darla)Also Angel suposedly left to give Buffy a normal life right?what about Cordelia?she was a girl too?he couldnt be with Buffy but he could Cordelia?so you see Angel belongs with Darla or Cordelia and Spike and Buffy belong together!!!

i mean, who does she call when her mom dies? who does she try to save by sending him away on the last episode - ANGEL. yes, she stayed with spike, and he was great to be there for her, but how come she doesn't try to save him?
she always comes back to ANGEL. he's the one!!
Ok i watched season 5 of Buffy and i didnt see her call Angel and tell him her mom died?and season 7 when Spike was feeding on humans he begged Buffy to kill him but she didnt!and when the Bringers took Spike Buffy almost died trying to save Spike,and when Giles and Wood tryed to kill Spike i remember Buffy telling Wood that if he ever tryed anything(as in try to kill Spike again)Spike will kill him and more importantly she would let him,and when Spikes chip was killing him Buffy made a call to find Riley to get the chip fixed and went to the old Initives caves to find a medicine to help Spike and she had the chip removed to save him,and when Angel came to Sunnydale to help Buffy she sent Angel away so she could spend her last night with Spike and when the Amulet pushed Spike up against the wall Buffy ran over to him and told him he did enough and Spike told her no she held them off its his turn to clean up!!so why didnt Buffy go to LA after the closing of the Hellmouth if she loves Angel so much and cant live without him?why didnt Buffy run to LA to help Angel in his last battle?also Angelica D where was Angel all this time if Buffy was his eternal love?and why did he have a baby with Darla(the girl who tryed to kill Buffy)if he was still in love with Buffy like when she was a teenager?when Buffy came back from Heaven where was Angel then?when she needed some one the most?Buffy would have given up and died if it wasnt for Spike,so where is this so called love theyer suppose to have?And the real question is if Angel really truely loved Buffy why didnt he go get a real soul (like Spike did)so he could be with the girl your saying he really loved?and seems to me when Buffy needed some one she went to Spike i didnt see her pick up a phone and call Angel,even when her friends,sister,watcher,potentials threw her out of her own house when she was ready to give up again Buffy never called Angel and Spike went and found her and gave her the strenght to go on and she asked Spike to stay with her!!! i remember a scene in season 2 of Buffy when Angel was gonna stab her with a sword and Buffy stopped the sword with her hands and season 5 Buffy where Buffy was about to get a sword stabbed in her head and Spike stopped the sword with his bare hand and held it so it didnt stab Buffy!!!!Anyway Buffy never went to Angel after the closing of the Hellmouth so that proves she has moved on,also Spike has been there for her do you honestly think Buffy would want some one who keeps running off and making the rules in thier relationship?or some one whos been there for you even when your friends told him to leave you alone and treated him like dirt and someone who helped take care of your sister when you were dead and when you asked him to and some one who went through hell to get a soul for you and some one who treats you like a equal and loves you no matter what or how you treat him some one who died to save you?i know who she would choose Spike!!also Buffy is a woman now and i dont think Angel could handle her now,Spike and Buffy are ment to be!!!!Spike and Buffy forever!!!
ok people ANGEL ok he is human NOW in the comics wil yea sorta he is human now and spike did save the world but only once. how many times did ANgel try to keep buffy safe he gave being human just for her to live he is the true man buffy should be with ok and angel he would do anything to save a life he helps the helpless amd fights the good fight thats a true champion.
Did you see the episode in Angel when Cordelia asked Angel if hes ok (about Buffy dying,her death)and Angel says thats the problem im ok about Buffy dying!!!!so you see Angel moved on and Angel so called gave up humanity to save Buffy?well it didnt save her did it?and where was he in LA i never once seen Angel come to Sunnydale to help Buffy with Glory or the key(Dawn why didnt Angel help with Dawn if he loved Buffy so much?)but he supposedly gave upbeing a human to save Buffy how is that saving her?he never came to help her?and when she came back from Heaven he never came to Sunnydale to stay and help Buffy during her worst moments of her life?no Spike did he was there and he was the one Buffy told her problems and secrets to,he was the one she trusted and ran to was Spike!!Also when Darla died Angel was more heart broken over her than he was over Buffy so tell me where did Angel prove his love to Buffy?oh he runs away to LA because he didnt want to go get a real soul so that he could accually be with the girl your saying he loves so much?how did Angel ever keep Buffy safe by running off to LA?oh yeah his soul is that it?so he didnt turn into a demond again that hates Buffy like Angelous?is that it?cause im confused so what you just leave some one your suppose to love and run off to LA?thats for thier own good?Buffy will never have a normal life ok shes a slayer and Angel runs away to give a slayer a normal life?whatever im tired of trying to figure out how what Angel did was to protect her and cause he loved her cause he could have went and got a real soul like Spike did and stay to help her fight like Spike did but no he didnt and you say thats love?well who cares if Angel is human now cause im telling you he will find a way to be a Vampire again you just watch and see what im saying,also the only other man that truely loved Buffy besides Spike was Xander so if Spike and Buffy dont get together again than Xander should have his chance cause hes the only other one besides Spike thats truely loves Buffy!!Spuffy forever!!

No offense to angel cause i love him, but spike was there for buffy through the hardest parts of her life.
and by the end she obviously loved him.
I so think Buffy should end up with Spike. Granted Angel was her first love, and they have a deep connection, however lets face it they can never really be together because of the curse and Angel knew that hence why he left. Spike doesn't have that problem and he showed is love was true by fighting and nearly dying for his soul and then sacrificed himself to save the world, Buffy included. They both would do anything for her, but Spike went through alot took alot of flak from Buffy and still loved her even when she was cruel to him. Buffy says she doesn't love him, but he's in her heart and he's done so much for her. He deserves a shot.
Buffy has to be with Angel. He's the love of her life and she's the love of his life.
angel and buffy were better together because there love was real buffy just used spike as she said in season 6 of buffy
i think spike because lets not forget that angel left buffy and also she said to him that if it ever happened it would be years onwards spike however showed his love for buffy he went across the world and got a soul for buffy Do you remember spike draping himself over a cross burning and saying "buffy can we rest now?" i do spike loved buffy so much and he did sacrifice his life to save the world he was a true champion. buffy did tell him that she loved him and also told angel that spike had a place in her heart and spike was always there offering comfort to buffy when she was upset even before he got a soul i think that spike and buffy should be together
I actually like both of them,
but if i liked a sensitive and very hot sexy guy,
it would be Angel.
and If i wanted to get freaky and dirty and do it with a hott vampire,
it would be Spike.

I loved the show Buffy it was awesome. I watched it faithfully and loved it. I loved Angel and Spike. They were both nice to look at. i would love a reuion show.
