buffy, hands down. He did love cordelia but you cant compare it to the kind of love he had for buffy.

I give the Cordy/Angel fans credit for still maintaining their loyalty to their couple. But come on she wasn't Angel's true love. I won't deny that he didn't grow to love her, but never surpassing his feelings for Buffy. You're Welcome was a classic episode for C/A shippers, but the only reason Cordilia was brought back, was because SMG coudln't make it for that episode.
So wait how would of Angel got the vision to take down Wolfram and Heart then? No I'm sorry Angel got over Buffy he just didn't want anyone else with her eather. Oh yah not to mention how long did it take for Angel to get over Buffy dieing. Three months with demon munks, and oh yah what did he say when he got back "I should of gone to Vegas," Oh yah thats real love right there let me tell you.

OMG. you guys make me sick. Oka not literally cos I luv all you fans and stuff. But cumon. Angel and Cordy!!! the tension. geeez. It's gotta be them. Oka, Darla and Angel were....cute(well, actually evil) but they never conected. True. We all agree on that. TYhey even agreed on it. But cordy and Angel have gotta be together. And they are the best pair. I mean, did you WATCH "Waiting in the wings"? I mean, I know they were under a spell, but you could tell they loved it. And anyway. Angel is too Dark and broody to have his real true love still be alive. That's why it has gotta be CORDY!!!!!!!!!

i think that we cant compare the Buffy & Angel love, with the feelings that Angel developed to cordelia,
yes, they might have been closed, like spikes got closed to buffy, but what have we seen in 3first seasons of Buffy, and how they love each other, shows me that angel was buffy´s true love, (she said so in s7 to xander) so, angel´s true love is also buffy..
Oka, so I'm pretty much a Buffy encyclopedia. But I don't recall Buffy ever saying that to Xander in season 7? Can you give me the EXACT frasing. I'll guarante that it's not what made out to be. And yeah, you mention season seven?...You remember the season before that where Spike got his sould for Buffy? It's Buffy and Spike. Then Angel and Cordi. Seriously! So what if Miss Chase is dead/in some sort of higher reality...Tall Dark and Forehead is too broody to have his true love still around anyway. It's simple elimination. Who does that leave us with? CORDELIA!!

I agree Buffy was Angels true love BUT he did fall in love with Cordelia. Watch the Angel series really closly and you will see just what i mean.

buffy will always be his love of his life even though after cordy became a big part but angel always went back to buffy so i think he truely loved her more
