how is spike hot? I mean seriously, when compared to angel/angelus, he's like a little, fluffy, bleached-blonde, british bunny. Angel on the other hand is dark, handsome, mysterious, and my god, what a bod! Spike's definitely the better written character, but physically there's no guy in the buffyverse hotter than angel.

Spike rules. He's hot. He's got the style.

I personally think that they are both hot, they are extremely hot and have different characteristics of hotness. However, I would have to say Spike. I've just known him in the series longer than angel, and I personally love him. :D But if I could choose both, I would soooo do so. :D

Well being a dude I can't really vote on this one but I like what you did here. Most of my friends that are girls think spike is hotter. It is probably because in addition to being an actor James Marsters is also in a rock band and stays in much better shape.

it hard to say they are both so f***ing hot but. i would really have to say Spike is the hottest. i like him from when he fist came into the say in School Hard. He is to die for and he can bit me anytime.

While they are both HOT I have been a Buffy fan from day 1 and I am still a little bias towards Angel. He is still my favorite of the two, and oh so HOT!!!

Spike!!! Angel's only hot when he's evil and even then he's nothing compared to spike. People who like Angel always whinge and moan about "oh, spike tried to rape buffy, blah blah blah", come on, get over it, Spike LOVED Buffy. That was obvious, regardless of what happened. Angel was cute but boring, I vote the bad boy all the way!!!

Spike definitely, he was my biggest crush ever from when I saw him in The Harsh Light of Day, possibly my favourite episode. The way he speaks, acts, the things he says and how he says them...funny, sexy...fighteningly goreous...
I think Angel is a little self absorbed with his brooding...and he's only good because of his curse, he abandoned Buffy and though he says he wants to protect her he doesn't do anything to back it up.
Though, nothing really against Angel really...but he'll never compare to Spike for me...
Spike was willing to risk death in order to get his soul so Buffy would love him...or at least accept him...and he's so passionate...and loving...he was in love with Drucila for like 100 years, and was completely devoted to her...he's really intense when he's in love...
