Forum Discussion for Who's Responsible for $4/gallon Gas?

I find it hard to swallow, that when Bush became president it was $1.79/gallon and now its $4.00/gallon. Huge coincidence!

The one whose making all the money!, the Oil Companies

All of the above, and add the gas taxes to the that mix - it certainly does not help us at the pump.

I think it is a combination of all these things. The best answer to $4 a gallon (soon to be higher) gasoline is to stop using it. Let's not waste valuable energy playing the blame game. It is time to find an alternative and break our addiction to big oil for our planet's and our wallet's sake.
