would you change the ending of angel .

i dont no about you, but i would have liked to have seen a different ending to angel season 5. i know they left it open for everyone to make their own minds up,but it left me with a horrible feeling.did angel and spike die ? did gunn make it very far,as he was nearly falling over as it was. if they did die, how did they die ? if they lived, where did they all go from there ? did angel and spike go find buffy ? or did she even know. so many questions and no answers. i would like to know what you think. could the ending have been better ?????

I defenitly would of changed it, Its like watching Lord Of The Rings and having them end it before the battle even begins.

I think the end is perfect bcuz it makes Angel and the gang still continued the endless fights against evil..but I think Angel shouldn't be with Nina or anybody else except Cordy!He should met Cordy in the heaven!

I really wanna know what happened ..
I hate it to not know if everyone survived.
I mean Angel can be dead or he still lives with his love for Cordy.
& Spike .. If he lived, he can he forget Buffy ??
And then Gunn & Illyria ..

I hate the end !

It would have been nice to know if Angel or Spike ever fulfilled the prophecy and became human. And what happened to L.A. with all those monsters loose.

As a long time Buffy/Angel fan, I was disappointed. I felt that there was too much left unresolved and too many questions unanswered.

mum you are right a dif ending to angel is a good idear i hated how you had to make your own mind up. i wish they had survied. the buffy gang did basically the buffy gang lived forever.

the only way the ending could have been better is if buffy came back to fight with him like when he tryed in season 7 of buffy

Why change it? I love the fact that they went out fighting. That's the perfect ending for them. Rather than wrapping it all up like they did on Buffy, which is a much sunnier show (!), they left it a lot darker on Angel: people dead or dying, only the guys with superpowers left (though i hear if you read the comic book that Gunn survived). That makes sense to me.
