Help Find Steve Fossett775 Pledges
Description:Issue: STEVE FOSSETT HAS BEEN FOUND. THANK YOU EVERYONE! YOUCHOOSE.NET OFFERS A $10,000 REWARD TO THE FIRST YOUCHOOSE MEMBER WHO PROVIDES INFORMATION LEADING TO THE RESCUE OF STEVE FOSSETT. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! PLEASE READ ON: On Monday, September 3, 2007, Steve Fossett, the first person to fly a plane solo around the world without refueling and the first person to fly around the world in a balloon went missing in Nevada. An airplane he was flying failed to return. No one has any idea where he is. Through the generous efforts of individuals at several organizations, detailed satellite imagery has been made available for his last known whereabouts. Belief:I believe that if we each take a little time looking at the satellite images and marking those that may have signs of Fossett in them, we could find him or determine what happened to him.

Per my response to Tracy A, make sure you downloaded this to have updated images. Otherwise google earth images could be years old:
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you've loaded the following KML file below in Google Earth before navigating to the co-ordinates. Otherwise, you risk looking at old and irrelevant images.
KML file for Google Earth Searching:

Tom S here. What is the description of his aircraft? Color scheme please. Fuel on board? Fuel consumption?
Any other info? Thanks
Here is a comment I received in my email overnight and my response:
hello.. satellite image..thought you may be able to look closer at it being 38.492661,-118.977127..looks like shadowing of flat edged shapes in top 30 mtrs right hand top..could be just terrain..perhaps you may have some luck.
Mike Dever response: I don't see anything that appears to be more than regular terrain and shadows. But I'm certainly not a trained satellite image expert. All I can suggest is to tag it and bring it to the attention of others. I'll post this in our forum as well.
