Clear Lake High graduate killed in wreck
A Clear Lake High School graduate died last Tuesday afternoon after he was in a two-vehicle wreck on Bay Area Boulevard.
Chase Taylor Williamson, 21, was badly injured in the accident, which took place in the 1400 block of Bay Area, and later died in the hospital after being taken there by Life Flight, friends of the family said last week. A witness at the scene said Williamson's car clipped the bumper of another vehicle, and he was ejected from his car. A U.S. Navy veteran, Williamson also attended San Jacinto College after graduating from Lake in 2004 and was fairly well-known in the Clear Lake community. Born in Webster in 1986, he is survived by his parents, Tracy and Ritchie Clause and Alan Williamson, sister Elliott Clause, brothers Kennedy Clause and Taylor Williamson, grandparents Carol Seeberger and Gerald and Peggy Clause, aunts Lisa Foote and Kelly Louis; aunts and uncles Dr. Holly Clause and Dr. Andy Stoebner, Melanie and Carlisle Smith, Emily and Dave Corley, Robbie and Susan Seeberger, Russell and Shila Seeberger, Mark and Cindy Seeberger. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Seeberger, his uncle, Chris Seeberger, and his cousin, Brittany Seeberger. A visitation was held last Thursday, with a vigil service at Crowder Funeral Home in Webster. Mass took place on Friday at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Clear Lake. Williamson is interred at Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorials sent to the Chase Taylor Williamson Scholarship Fund, care of JSC Federal Credit Union, 1330 Gemini, Houston, Texas 77058. ©Houston Community Newspapers Online 2008
