The Ex-Fan cannot take any more of the nonsense that goes on in the NBA. This is the only sport on the planet where "Well conditioned Athletes" fall down as much as they do or cannot make plays. Fact: 6 foot plus guys playing a non contact sport. There is some bumping and a guy flails like he has been it with the blunt end of an axe. Are you kidding me. Fact: How tall are these guys slamming the ball down inside the hoop...and then standing there like they did something...The bench has guys covering their mouths with closed fists and leaning and laughing like it was some great play. All things relative...a 6ft 8in player can stand and touch the rim. Big deal. Raise the rim to 15 ft. Fact: These guys aren't real athletes...they are actors. There don't RUN...they jog and then stand around...jog back the other way and stand around, jog back the other way and stand around...Finally, someone bumps into them and the arms go flying, they hit the floor like it some some adult abusing a child hoping to get a call. The othere guys crowd around him, pull him up and he has to scowl for the camera or wince in pain. Have you ever seen a football game or Hockey Game. These guys get throttled, loose teeth, get sewn up right on the bench and don't miss a shift. Not basketball...They are all cry babies. Raise the rim to 15 feet. Just because they were born tall doesn't make them great. They didn't do anything. I am 5ft 11in. That is like me playing with a 7ft rim and having everyone get excited. Who cares...Hell, some of them even miss a slam dunk...How can that happen...nobody is guarding the rim, nobody is contesting and they still miss... ARE YOU SERIOUS. |
