If NBC states it is because of poor ratings where else can you watch a "series" when everything happens like "Alaster" rises from the dead like a cat with 9 lives and keeps on ticking?  That doesn't sound like "poor ratings" but just plain smart "writing and directing".  Many people in society need to work 2 jobs to make ends meet - this gives them an out to watch at night their recordings.  For the ones at home with medical or stay at home moms, etc. it allow us an escape into a carefee fantasy world. By changing to DirectTV this has created a monopoly on Passions- this is like living in IRAQ. The American people want to feel like we have a choice even if it in choosing which soap opera we want to watch. I don't see why DirectTV and Cable can't work together and have it shown on both. LET'S SHOW AMERICA "WE CAN WORK TOGETHER" NOT JUST PREACH IT!

Passons was one of the best day time dramas. I do NOT watch NBC now during the day theirs no reason to now. I will not switch to satillite it is to windy where i live and I would miss it anyways. NBC SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Passons was my favorite soap that was on nbc, i really think that they should bring it back. I dont want direct t.v. i want passons back. I'd really like to know if teresa and ethan got back together,and if she has told him the he is little ethans father. They were my favorite couple! Anyways so thats what i think, the today show already has enough air time they can bring passons back!

I think that they should put Passions back on NBC That is the ONLY soap I ever watched my whole life and I am 26 and I cant afford Satillite and not only me but I am sure there are other people who cant afford it either I have watched Passions since the first day it ever came on to T.V. and like I said above that is the ONLY soap I have actually gotten into and enjoyed and when I read about whats happening or whats about to happen I really wish I could watch it but No I cant and that really really pisses me off that I cant watch it anymore there were time I had something to do but I wouldnt do it till "My show" was over I think thats the stupidist thing that MBC could have ever done...

I agree!!! I'm 60 and not a happy camper. NBC really messed up. I have cable and not about to switch to Direct TV. Cable is expensive, but at least you can record shows you don't want to miss while away. I used to have Direct Tv. but they kept making serious errors on my bill. You have to watch them like a hawk. When they first started talking about going to direct tv, I thought they would still be on NBC as well. WRONG!!!!  At least I can still catch the goings on by using the computer. My daughter has direct tv, as she can't get cable in the country, so she keeps me posted, when she's not working. I wouldn't answer my phone when the show was on. Oh well, what can you do when you have so many money hungry people running tv shows. Don't think they give a rats ass what the public thinks.

Alister is like Stephano on Days of our Lives...LOL...He's like a phoenix that keeps rising. I dont watch passions every day but I do like the show. There is such a variety of things happening in the show..(ie the witchcraft), a lot of times I watch it for its humor...Leave it where it is and quit taking our choices for what WE want to watch away from us

o.k fine they friggin took passions off of nbc,thats bs and i'm pissed.I really don't see why they couldn't just find a different time slot for passions.obviously there are alot of people who are pissed about this situation(I keep reading everyone's comments),so the ratings couldn't have been that bad, seriously!!!just put passions back on tv even like I said even if its a different time slot,or if its a different channel like channel 5.SOMEONE PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!! Is anyone even reading these things we are writing?what the hell,someone let us know whats up.this just plain sucks I just wish I could turn my tv on tomorrow and passions would be thereFrownCry!!!

how do they figure ratings anyway.  how do they know who is watching and what they think of it?  what is nbc's deal with directv anyway? how long are they signed to be exclusive with directv on the "101" why cant comcast also make a deal with nbc and run passions on cable too. is it because the cable companies are greedy too . i am beside myself, i miss my soap, i want it back.what can we do other than the petition?

Yell so this is the way T V is going to be? you tell people they have to go into debt to watch their favorite shows? that's not right. who is paying who to have it this way? the public didn't vote for it? watching tv cost enought as it is & direct tv is no better you pay for 8 channels of the same programs. well if Passion is ok with losing fans have it your way I'll watch something else.Wink

hell even if they move passions to a differnt time slot on nbc they still have done better then allowing direct tv to take it. If they say it cause of ratings where they get there ratings from men oh that sounds smart ask any men about a woman show and u might get a werid aswer hell my husband even likes passions and that werid cause i dont know very men that will admit that but he will. okay lets think about this if we put it on at 2 am i bet ur 2 am show would have more ratings then some of your other bs crap that on or hell charge like 14 bucks to watch it online i still think it would have been better then having to switch to direct tv which a deposite is like 200 bucks witch parents like us cant pay at all inless they come up with better plans i think we all need togeather and ralley till they finally make a dission and put it back on the air even if it not at the same time who cares it still be on tv BUT NOT DIRECT TV they suck

WE SHOULD ALL BOYCOTT THE TODAY SHOW, AND STUPID CROSSWORDS (SORRY MERV GRIFFITH) TILL THEY RETURN PASSIONS HOME.

 IN MY BUILDING WE CAN'T GET DIRECT TV, I WOULD IF I COULD. 

SO WHAT AM I TO DO NOW.

AT LEAST STREAM LINE IT ON-LINE

I agree with everyone else....   I have not heard anything good about Direct TV from my neighbors, they had it and switched to cable....  I wouldn't switch for one show, but love Passions!  Someone needs to fix it so we all can be happy.

As I said before they run Dr. Phil twice aday once at 3:oop.m and then at 7:00p.m. Why can they not

take Dr.Phil off at 3:00p.m and put passions at 3:oop.m besides all he on are people that air out there

dirty and if the higher ups think that passions had poor ratings they are wrong that is why there is alot of

freinds beside me that want passions back on NBC please bring passion back.

  • I do agree with all the comments I have read about "BRING PASSIONS BACK". It is not fair for what the execs have done. I have Fios and just love it and would not change to anyother server's for just one soap.  NBC4 is not on any of our TV sets. I hope they will at least put in on another local channel for all viewrs/fans to be able to wath. That would be great. That is if they even care about anyone else other than themselves. Here is hopping for the best to over come this mess.

I agree with what u say. I love watching passions but i'm not gonna switch from my cable to satellite so i can watch it. Why can't they just work together to have passions on both? It's not right to try to get the viewers of passions to switch over just so we can watch it. Work together people.

   I also have watched Passions from the first show till NBC cancelled it.I was truly sorry that some of us cannot get Directtv,And no Today show extended hour! I don't watch the other 3 hours!We loved the characters on Passions.It was a different show with its witches and magic.I miss other shows they cancelled like " Love of Life",Capitol,Another World,Ryans Hope, Edge of Night. These shows were our favs to.How about Peyton Place! My mom and grandma were racing home to watch it and my mom got a speeding ticket so grandma wouldn't miss the show. Come on ABC,CBS,NBC think about your your tv show fans especially housewives who are the main audience.debado62

this is totally unfair heartless of NBC. we here in the bahamas have pledged not to watch NBC until Passions return!
