It may come as a surprise to a lot of people but if you play back the winning night of Mr. Obama. you would have heard that the plans have already been started to take out the Under God in our Pledge and the God we founded this country on. It was with a meeting of Oprah and a lady reporter and it was made mention several time that we were now one nation, indivisible...... This struck me as very crass on there part. He has already started change in the flag, not saluting our flag, and various other fun things like not even being sworn in with a Bible,
We are definite in for a major change.
We are taking on a person with little or no experience and not enough to be his own body guard....If he chooses to prove that he is born here then by all means let us let him prove it before the deadline to have him ousted from the most prestigious office in the USA..... He could also be booted out of the Senate for all a care

I will not pledge. I personally feel it should be taken out of the pledge of allegiance, off money, off the walls of our court house, our of the class rooms, and that Christians would STOP knocking on my door, hanging fliers on my vehicle, and stop harrassing people in general!!! I use to go to church, and every church I have gone to are filled with hipocrits! NONE of them follow the bible anyway, only the parts that are convenient for them and frankly, The bible in its entirety is a crock! God says thou shall not kill! How many people in the bible did God kill or have killed? Thou shall not covent thy neighbors wife! Who's wife did God impregnate? Which falls under Thou shall not commit adultery! Hmmm! I have had tooo many so called Christians go to church every Sunday, and go home, molest their kids, cheat on their wives and husbands, Go gambling and the whole nine yards. When I was little, a family that went to my church lost their home and everything they owned in a fire. They still showed up on Sunday, in the only clothes they had that they happened to be wearing during the fire, and had No shoes. Instead of the so called Christians welcoming them with open and caring arms, they shunned them! Everyone that they sat next to, got up and moved away like they had a plague, wouldn't talk to them, it was the most disgraceful thing I had ever seen! It is suppose to be freedom of religion, well I won't freedom from religion!! I am tired of having their beliefs crammed down my throat on a daily basis. The ONLY reason they are knocking on your door wanting you to go to church isn't because they care about your soul, its because they need your money in that **** bowl! To pay for the preachers Huge House, expensive car, and that HUGE ASS Church!!! I am glad to see how many people are waking up, and opening their eyes to the real truth! They can believe what they want, just stop telling me about it!! A couple of Children that go to school with my children, are going around telling the other kids: You are going to hell because you don't go to church, You are going to hell because you didn't do your homework, etc.... Their parents should have their asses kicked for teaching their children to JUDGE others!! Isn't Thou shall not judge part of the Bible???? Hmmmm... Another acquaintance of mine that is Christian.. Was stating that Gays and Lesbians should be thrown in jail because what they are doing is against the bible... I say, Who is she to judge? Why do Christians feel the need to butt into everyone elses business?? I say good riddance to it all!!!

The vast majority of emigrants came to this country to escape persecution, religious persecution in particular for the earliest emigrants. The vast majority of the founding fathers had no faith and were deists at best. Some were flat-out opponents of Christianity and religion as a whole.

Do you support intolerance? That's the entire reason "in God we trust", "under God", and other mentions of God were added in 1954 to weed out the filthy, evil, atheistic communists in this country. Hardly a Christlike movement, don't you think?
First of all, it is not a breach of separation of church and state. That was also created long after the country was founded. Try the 1960s. If you go to the Supreme Court what do you see on the wall? Moses holding the 10 comandments. If you go to the Senate, there are designs all over the inside and out of nearly all the buildings and they refer to God, moses, 10 commandments so it should stay. Just because were are in a new century...God never changes and is always the same. The one true God of the Bible.
you people that think under god should be taken out of the POA are worng. Have you all forgot what this country was built on, or did u forget that class.
If the POA said "and to the democracy for which it stands" instead of "and to the republic"...you'd see a shift in salivators.
I personally find the "under God" addition to be supererogatory and divisive. Will any God do, or does it have to be the Christian God?
Why are people so afraid of 2 words...I feel that having faith in God can truley help many people. Our nation was founded with those words and just because someone doesn't like it doesn't mean it should be removed. Taking it out may only cause alot of people to be upset. Freedom Of religion right? If you don't like then don't say the pledge!!
Look this country was founded in the belief of In God we trust, and you know what it works. Also, "under God" works for all religions and different cultures in this country. So to remove thosr two words in order to please the minority of godless liberals and wannabe socialists infesting would simply be unAmerican.
