What sense of humor are you talking about?The only thing she can go is put down Bush which is really old now.How come she can't come up with anything new?All of you that are excited about her show you will probably be disappointed when they take her off of the air.Not saying that they will but I really can't see her having it for long!!

Behar is slipping. Her shoulders are jerkin' around again, her old geezer mouth movements are absolutely freaky, and her self-described "beautiful skin" fools no one. She looks horrible! And today's comment about Jake Gyllenhaal doing something weird on late nite TV made zero sense. (I completely agree with the senility comment below.) Then after the "Jake" debacle, she tries to laugh it off for the remainder of the show! This woman, with the physically-distracting GIANT head, is clearly displaying an escalating struggle with Parkinson's and needs to be removed from television. Behar is a train-wreck. Aren't her current meds working anymore?

Very busy -- which is good in this economy. Working in Vancouver for the past few months but back home for a while now. I've missed The View far too much -- but not the 405!

Hey, RJWW, good to see you back. Are you going to any U2 concerts this summer? We're going to Dublin to see them! First time seeing them outside the USA besides Hawaii. Are you going to the Rosebowl concert? I don't check this site often but I'll look for your answer. Heard Vancouver is gorgeous. Oh, and welcome back to the drudgery of the 405! Uh, Joy still Rocks!!(hamhocks, foot twirls, twitches and all!)

Yes, I'll be at the Pasadena concert(Oct.) I envy you going to Dublin -- no way for me with my projected work schedule.... Concerning Behar, it's been rumored out here for months that she would be leaving The View. I consider Monday's reference to her Fall show a distant foreshadowing to the big announcement. (May have been earlier clues -- but I've been largely out-of-touch.) I HAVE caught her a couple times sitting in for Larry and she wasn't half bad; the SINGLE talk show host format seems to be a better fit -- her conversations more balanced, her neurological problems more relaxed. I wish her luck! Seriously. But I'm quite pleased her days at The View are most likely numbered; it simply wasn't working any more for ALL parties involved. THe View has been good to her and she USED to be good for it -- but then was then, and now is now. Life is change. I hope there'll be a silver lining.

We might be going to the Rosebowl concert too since a family member lives in Pasadena and we can stay there. The new album grows on you though the only true hitworthy song is "Magnificant." Regarding Joy on Larry King, yes, she seems more relaxed on there and I especially liked her interviews with Man Coulter. Still find it hard to believe she'd leave The View and wonder who they would get to replace her!? Hmmmm......

On Behar: Too bad this old chick hasn't worked through the contamination of her narrow Catholic upbringing -- you know, the upbringing that taught her SEX is bad (which it isn't) Instead, she continues to make a complete fool of herself as she tries, at age 67, to compensate for all the Catholic misinformation she got as a kid pertaining to sex. THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL that three-men-and-one-woman sex scene portrayed in the Calvin Klein PUBLIC billboard is "appropriate." But because of Behar's refusal to grow up and out of her teen years of narrow Catholic sex message MISinformation, she CONDONES the ad saying, "It's a great LEARNING EXPERIENCE... TEACH your kids...you can't control the world." Then she equates internet porn with public displays of smut! This poor excuse for an adult (actually elderly) woman cannot see a DIFFERENCE??? She quite honestly appears senile! Does she NOT have the thinking skills to realize the scores of children out there who HAVE NO PARENT to instruct? My God, this woman has no legitimate deducing skills at ALL. Behar lives in la-la-land and needs to be removed from the show. She is an embarrassment to Barbara Walters and ABC.

I agree that what Joy said about the billboard was pretty dumb. Advertising gets way out of hand, and I am not easily offended. However, I love Joy...I love it when she argues with Elizabeth who I think is too young and niave.

Patti, make up your mind: you apologized to Sierra for constantly saying she was me and now you are accusing me of being Sierra AGAIN. You know it isn't true but incase you still believe that, some meds are in order for the paranoia/delusional disorder. Anyway, didya miss me, Patticakes? I haven't been on either site in a few days since my father has been visiting me from California...yes, SIERRA Madre to be exact....and infact, at age 86, he took a hike just two weeks ago by himself, which I told him was foolish since theres no cell phone reception in the mountains. His SIERRA Club buddies were too far ahead of him to catch up. Now having said that, NO, I AM NOT SIERRA. I posted only because I immediately recognized Captain Hook as our old friend and sometimes nemesis, RJWW and I was right. See ya!

Sean...you are right on with your comments. Joy needs to stop trying to be cool...it does not become her. Now...I have to say the other discussion they had today about the bikini wax was way out of line for a daytime show. And I was surprised to see Elisabeth join in somewhat on that one. In defense of Joy....she seemed embarrassed by Whoopi and Sherri making the comments they did. What a gross way of discussing the subject.

Thanks for the endorsement reference the Calvin ad... Actually, the bikini waxing segment didn't bother me as I found it quite funny; it wasn't really graphic enough to spark my censoring juices. Just women being women. And btw, I punched-in the wrong zip in my profile -- but who cares? It's the CONTENT of what we say here that matters, not so much the geographic location of origin.

But it's so much more than a hair muss, foot twirl, lip twitch -- which are innocent enough, Miss Laura. (And congats on ID-ing my alias.) As I've said so many times before, Behar has some kind of neurological disease that grates and disturbs -- which does NOT belong on bigscreen television! I actually feel sorry for the old girl. ........... And I regret having to diappoint you but I ain't this "Sean" person -- yet I liked his post, though I think he's trying to steal MY style and message -- which is strange since I hardly post here anymore. Maybe he's a long-time intermittent lurker like I am. The real question is: why do I keep coming back, silently or no? I continue to adore Miss Walters! what an incredible woman! I cannot help but forgive her for the occaional mishap; there's a REASON why she has endured so long in this business and the PREMISE of The View remains strong.

I ofcourse knew Sean from Compton was a poor imitator of the masterful RJWWWWW and the Laguna Beach comment was for your benefit. I think he's been on here before a while back when you were and tried to act like you too, so it looks like you've got a potential protege. Regarding Barbara, don't you find that she's slipping lately and letting loose too much? Sort of takes the glamour away of what she was. She constantly interrupts the others and today or yesterday, forgot which, Whoopi actually got annoyed with her and almost snapped "Let me finish my sentence first." Babara gets confused more than she used to also. Not sure how old she is but I guess thats par for the course. Speaking of courses, I suppose you watched the Open at Bethpage, which is just a few minutes from me. Been raining nonstop most of June which is really depressing but preparing us for our trip to Ireland to see the "Magnificent" Paul Hewson once again! Hope you will be catching them too.
