Although I no longer watch the show, I would think it sad that one that has lasted so long and has such a fan following would be lost. Daytime drama is not for everyone, but from time to time Days has been quality for it's genre and deserves to live on
Days of Our lives has been a favorite in my family since it started. My grandmother and I used to watch it all the time. Since she has past, I still watch it and it makes me still feel close to her. Not to mention, I enjoy most of the story lines:) If this show is canceled, I would be very sad.

I would love Days to stay, but in all that's fair the story lines are the same same they need a new story line ONE THAT is s little more real, Sami has been in the limelight way to long. END a story line in reasonable time than go to another.

I've been watching Days over 20 years, yes, their story lines can get crazy & out of hand, but, so what, that's a soap for ya! I still love it. Bad enough they fired "John & Marlena" and I am reeling from that loss, I couldn't image loosing the entire show!

I would not want to see Joy Behar leave the show as long as Elizabeth is there. At least we have a balance of opinions. Joy is pretty earthy but it plays well against Elizabeth's sappiness.

I have watched Days from the very first day it started and to be honest with you. It has grown so boring, I can hardly watch it anymore. I tape it on my DVR every day, so I can buzz through most it. It seems I only truly watch about 5 minutes of the show. Perhaps, it needs to go.
This is the only soap I watch. I've watched since the show started. Please keep it on the air. I agree that John & Marlena are keepers, so are Bo & Hope. Melanie can go any day as far as I'm concerned. I also think that Kate's cancer treatment could have been handled more professionally. Surely there is someone at NBC that can give real medical advice to the writers and makeup people so it would appear that Kate has really been sick.
