After the Mi Amigo sank I stopped listening to the radio, for over thirty years the airwaves were bland and boring THEN Planet Rock came along. If it closes how long will we have to wait for the next one.
I don't listen to anything but Planet Rock. I thinK it is the best station on air by far. I even bought a Pure Highway DAB RADIO so I could listen to it in the car. SAVE PLANET ROCK!!!!!!!!!! Rock Rules.

I have a digital radio in nearly ever room including my bathroom. I now want one in my car, all because of one radio station! Why is the UK so crap at giving the public what they want? If GCap die then fair enough, but Rock will never die! Planet Rock is a monolith, we need more like it, not kill our only Classic Rock station off!!!

25 years ago I wouldn't have believed there could be a radio station dedicated to playing classic rock! Now we have this fantastic radio station that sounds just like playing tracks from your record collection in random order and great DJs too. We need to join forces and fight to save Planet Rock and to be able to listen to great selections of rock music whenever we want.
I'm a young classic rock fan, I listen at least an hour a day to Planet Rock, what am I supposed to do if it goes? Listen to Radio 1, with some musicians who all dream of being better than Page, Coverdale, Bonham etc...
25 years ago rock airplay was left to the great Tommy Vance for 2 hours a week. Allowing Planet Rock to die will be a huge backwards step. In this day and age when every other type of (crap) media is available to the point of saturation, let's not make a niche out of the music that has the most loyal fans of all.
A great station, refreshing to hear it on the air. PR plays all that good stuff that others are afraid to spin. Long may PR be around. Not many other pleasures left in Britain these days, so come on, support it.

Carlsberg don't do radio stations, but if they did it'd be Planet Rock! Why is it when something good happens some idiot always wants to spoil it. Surely 1 rock station isn't too much to ask? Whats the point in saving the planet if Planet Rock dies?
This is the only surviving radio outlet for all that glorious rock music. Overjoyed when I found it, gutted to think it may be closing down. How sad I would be without it playing in my life each day. Save Planet Rock

In this day and age where every other type of (crap) media is available to the point of saturation, lets not make a niche out of the music that has the most loyal fans of all.
