There is a campaign going on for this issue - Check it out

This is stupid

As I see it, Miller should have asked apologies for offending others, as well as the other sponsers and the makers of this offensive poster.

Sure Kim, with the right of speech, someone could put your photo having sex on the internet, and you wouldn't care, but if I like it, I will broadcast it to anyone, for instance your family. Don't you love it now?? Please stop posting stupid things such as that God is a rapist, if you don't believe in God, or you believe that satan should be behind you, post it in the satanic web sites, not here.

righhhhht, you want it removed because your god is homophobic ... i cant see how you ever possibly lose that argument O_o

let me say:adam and eve werent married, neither were god and mary. jesus was a **** son of a rapist god. jesus loves all men. jesus wore sandals. the bible uses bad grammar. theres something in it "anything that which enters a man is not evil" [[under the title of king herrods yeast or something]] and gayness is wrong..?

Making that poster was protected under the right to free speech/expression--if you don't like it, don't look at it.

well durr they make beer!

Wow, stop this madness. Before you know it, some madman will start printing versions of the bible with graphic descriptions of violence, sex, betrayal, indefidelity, murder, temptation, cruelty and lust.

Oh wait... seems a group of guys called Matthew, Mark, Luke and John beat them to it.

Still though, at least it wasnt a picture of Muhammed in S&M gear, then we'd never hear the end of it.

Religion is so dumb, I cant comprehend why most people cant reason that out for themselves.

I don't drink anyway; but this behavior is shameful and hurtful to others. I would only wonder if the company made a conscious decision to do this.

Hold on I agree with the miller thing but for the others I know that the Bush family are good people and would never let something like this happen. My Grandparents worked for them personally and they took very good care of them. No I am not talking about money either. I am not saying that I support drinking...

The organized religion is anti-Christian too !!!! Why stop with Miller?

It would be nice if you would expand upon such a nebulous comment.

Well, since I don't believe in any god, and I think organized religions have generally been a disservice to society...I will buy more Miller :)  For my opinions on another religion:

How to discuss Islam with a Muslim

At least you explained that you feel they are bringing a 'general disservice.' Not sure the Miller is helping with that assessment ....hehehe

So you want to hold the gay people accountable for their version of the last supper. I may not agree with their views either but as far as holding Miller Brewary and gay people accountable for makeing a mockery of Christ, I would first clean up your own backyard. The mainstream church has made more of a mockery of Christ than any gay group ever could. With all their wars , bloodshed, land conquest, phobic taboos, etc, etc, etc, over the past 2000 yrs, I find it a bit hypocritical that you worry about someone dressed in leather. Remember sex was invented by God.Jesus said he gave us 2 comandments , 1 Love God, 2 Love each other. Thats it, pretty simple eh! But NO CHURCH has yet to follow. Maybe if the so called followers of Christ , actually followed Him, the world just might follow to. The church is supposed to be a light to others, not a baseball bat ready to beat their heads in.So my suggestion to all bible thompers, read the red words in the bible to, it's called The NEW testament!

David, that verse you used there: LOVE GOD and LOVE Neighbour,,, is not talking about the sexual kind of love. It is Agape love and not Iros (sexual) love. SO you can not aply it to sexual kind of activity to prove that homosexual behavior is moral or not. I do not wish to judge you just wanted to point out the use of that verse.

David:
When making a very outspoken statement, it is advisable to first have researched what you are saying, and secondly to avoid making blanket-statements that you have no way of proving.
On the first point, your use of scripture was not a correct one. It sounded like you were saying that freely practicing any/all kinds of sex is simply celebration of God's second commandment. That isn't what scripture says at all; that idea is a mis-application of scripture, as Timothy said. Secondly, you are right that Christianity as an organized religion has had some major mess ups along the way. And today there are many churches that are very poor examples of what "The Church-Christ's Bride" is supposed to look like. My own father was recently involved in exposing corruption on a regional level of church leadership. In many ways the church has failed, as an organized religion. But, like Timothy said, there is a remnant, a church that is global, growing, and being taught by the same spirit. I don't think you will really understand what I mean, but basically, if you meet the type of Christians we are talking about; literally all over the world(from my personal experience) they speak of the same truths and revelations being brought to them, things that seem to come from the same spiritual source. And many of these people have turned away from organized Christianity, esp. the National Churches, outside of America.
Anyway, the point of what I'm saying is that there is a real church. There are real people out there who are loving God with all of their heart, and who are loving their neighbors as themselves. AND, get this, in ACTION and not just word.
My family began this ministry; please look: it is a good example of ways people in the true church can really make a difference:

The Church is supposed to be a light to others, it is supposed to be following Jesus, and it is not your judge. This church can be found in most places, but not necessarily where you first look for it. I am not surprised at all that you have the picture that you do of the Church, but it's not a picture of the real church; it's a picture of religion going bad. I hope you have a chance to encounter the real Church.

I think she wants to hold these people (gay or not) responsible for making fun of something many people hold dear. (Just as if something you hold close to your heart were being made fun of) And in asserting that people "clean up their own backyard," are you not also implicating yourself? If you are going to use God's commandments to make your point, I sincerely hope that you are living by them. From what you have said about the church in general though; I would guess that you don't know that the Bible says that Christ loves the church and we should too. Your point is well-taken that some in the so-called church have used power to influence people inappropriately. and maybe your use of the word 'mainstream' explains this; but making a blanket accusation that because some have acted wrongly, that the real church should not have anything to say about the moral choices of others is incorrect. Despite those who claim to be Christians but have no love for others; there are those in the true church of Christ who uphold His law! Before you say that 'NO CHURCH has yet to follow' you better discuss it with me because I am his disciple. I have read the New Testament; and nowhere does it say homosexuality is moral or right behavior; nor does it affirm the validity of such sin because God created sex. In fact, God created them male and female on purpose. Also, because God is a loving God, does not mean that He allows unrighteousness and sinful behavior.

Timothy I totally agree with you. I have seen that website. I am not a drinker, but I am against what Miller is doing there.

I agree with you. But furthermore many of the good things in society that were started by Christians seem to have be erased altogethor by those who write history books. If you read history, public school systems, anti-child worker legislation, public hospitals and public hospitals just kind of popped out of nowhere. The fact that all of these institutions that are the bedrock of today's society were all started by Christians. The truth has been edited out to such an extent that the hospitals in my community were all started by Christians and they used to be called the Baptist, Presbyterian and the Salvation Army hospitals, but the city changed all their names so people don't know that they were started and still supported by local Christians. If that isn't erasing history, then what is? When disasters and famines happen, who gives more than Christians? Christian aid organizations get there first, stay there the longest and give far more aid than any other government or non-Christian organizations. But that is never mentioned either. A story on the news showed that over eighty percent of programs that gives communities clean disease free water were funded and built by fundamentalist Christian organizations. International, government and non-religious aid organizations were responsible for only about twenty percent. Why is that never mentioned. But you are right it shouldn't matter if we get credit or not, we are doing what we are told, the rest is all hog wash. (I don't drink either, so my boycott wouldn't have much affect anywho ;-)

Wesley:
err....I don't know if you will read this or not, but I was attempting to tell you that I didn't actually withdraw that request, but your settings are such that nobody can contact you.
