I love animals- and I want abuse to stop!

When choosing a pet,remember that you choose them, they don't choose you. They MUST be given the same love, affection and medical treatment that you would give your child. The people that put firecrackers in a cats butt and watch it explode, should have a M-80 put in theirs...how funny would that be??? I wish I could save ALL the animals in the world or just the USA, but I can't. But I do have a voice and a BIG attiude when it comes to cruelty of animals!!

Anyone that hurts an animal should have the same thing done to them, only 1000 times worse!!! An animal doesn't "choose" you, you choose them. So in doing so, you should treat them as you would when you choose to have a baby. They deserve the same love, affection and medical treatment that a human would. Anyone that thinks its funny to put a firecracker in a cats butt and watch it blow up, should have an M-80 stuck up their butt,,,now, how funny is it????

people who cruely abuse animals are the same kind who will think nothing of doing unimanigble things to children and others. Think about that!

Even as a child i was the only "outsider" in my community who thought that animals deserve so much more love and affection then human beings do.This feeling stuck, and today i'm a people hater as much as the endangered animals are. scientists should use themselves for experiments,and for once in my life i want to see a guy making a movie where animals have all the power and humans are vulnerable just like animals are now. for once it would be fun watching an animated lion and his sidekicks poaching for humans, who would shake and wriggle with fear...haha...

In order to stop the cruelty of animals, we need to demonstrate the correlation of being cruel to animals is just one step from being cruel to fellow humans. If we as a society could teach everyone how to treat animals with respect, this will transition to treating fellow humans with respect, Let's save the animal and ourselves.

This is a touchy subject for me, I absoltly hate it when people miss treat animals, all animals have feelings you can see it in there eyes when they are miss treated. They want to be loved just like us, when you see them miss treated I just want to hurt there so called owners the way they hurt those poor animals and then ask them did that hurt, I think there should be a credit check done on people when they want to get an animal.If you don't have time for an animal then you should not have one they are a lot of work but it's all rewarding!!

There are many ways to avoid the support of animal abuse (whether of pets or farmed animals) for example, developing an aversion to going to animal-based circuses or zoos, becoming vegetarian or vegan , making sure not to support pet breeding by buying purpose-bred pet-shop pets , supporting rescue organisations and visiting rescue shelters , and advocating animal rights (ie, taking the approach that animals should have the right to be treated as living sentient creatures, not the property of humans)

Everyone should love their pet/treating them with tlc. My Baby is just that {MY BABY}. I could NEVER imagine her being mistreated.

animals cant defend themselves, we must do it for them! be thier voice. Animals feel joy & love, they get cold & hungry, just like us, as well as fell pain. Stop thier pain. speak up and do the right thing.

Why do people get pets if they don't want to take care of them. I could never figure that out. Adults should be ashamed of themselves what a thing to teach you children...Pets give their love 100% they count of you. Please don't get a pet if you won't take care of it . Jan

animals are an important part of this earth and to hurt these compassionate creatures is a crime. Animals should be loved and cared for.

This is an issue that politics always ignores! It's just as important as gas, health care or even the real estate market. It's time for us to make this a serious crime, and something that can be prevented. Talk to your parents and friends to sign these petitions! Pets are a part of us! Let's help them!

It's time WE all stand together, and stop animal testing. Educate yourself, vote, sign every petition.
Write letters to congress, to the company's that do animal testing. I force myself to watch the videos taken by undercover investigators, it hurts. Most important it made me get involved, it will never stop, if we don't. And thanks to everyone out there for making us aware of the cruelty and abuse that these animals are enduring. I love all creatures great or small. If any one has other ideas, please tell me. I want to stop this.

Animals have the right to a good life. No animal deserves to be put down because it noone wants it. All animals deserve a loving home. The justice system isn't tough enough on people that are cruel to animals. Animals do feel pain and have feelings too.

You DONT want to know what I would do in this case !! I just had a beautiful cat that Im really attatched to, come back home after being gone since 7/4/07!! It's a MIRACLE !! But the horrible things that could have happened to him while he was out in the streets; haunt me; still !! Unfortunately, I have very little money but I would/will do ANYTHING I can to help these little ones....Just let me know !! I LOVE them all !!

I feel animal abuse in any manner of context is wrong.I strongly support your petition and would acknowledge that all governments should have a bylaw that people should be arrested for cruelty and murder of innocent animals and should take into consideration that all governments world wide should work together to stop this. a animal can look up at you to tell you are hurting them if they can acknowledge that maybe you can take your time to stop this outrageous act.
