Have you ever owned horses? Because if you did just because your brother found out you wouldnt stop such a wonderful petition. Sorry but I have to sign something I believe in.
Are you a kook or what?
You should explain why you don't want people to sign for this anymore, just because your brother found out???

I am an animal lover and I think no animal should be slaughhter for any reason. My husband and I have 1 dog 1 cat and 2 raccoons and I would kill anyone who tries to harm them in any why.
Horse slaughter is not just a U.S. problem. Here in Australia it also is a big problem. What I don't like is the process of shooting from helicopters and not ensuring that the first shot counts. (Not sure how they do it in the U.S. Can someone enlighten me?) Horses will suffer for days before dying or someone comes back for a second shot. It is not a humane way to deal with the problem, nor is it the best way. They say that horses are an enviornmental problem, and yes they eat more (and in a different manner to cattle) but cattle too have an impact on the environment. If speciality restaurants are happy serving up farm bred kangaroos and crocodiles nowadays, I can't see why horse can't be introduced also. Europeans have been eating them for years. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge horse fan - have been all my life, but lets face it. They can be put to better use than just being shot and left to die horrible deaths in the wild.
And here I thought Aussies were only killing the cursed cane toad.
can you pleaae provide more specifics? I am interested, but need to see more of what the issue is, in order to share in the feelings or spread the word. Who, what, where, and why. You already covered the when, but why is unclear.
i am taking a stand
