I <3 Firefly and Serinity. I have been told that there is acctually a book series that covers the entire story has anyone else heard of this or am i miss informed

Although I am not the large worshipper of Hollywood, Joss Vedon - this person PHENOMENON!!!
And to forget him - for Hollywood the simply foolish stupidity, greater than Bush as the President!

Firefly was the best dang show that TV ever had to offer. I know countless people who were devastated when they found out it was only going to be 14 episodes long. Finally when the movie came around a glimmer hope arose only to be smashed again. TV producers need to stop canceling the good shows. Please I beg of everyone....GET THIS SHOW BACK ON THE AIR!

Unfortunately, like many other, I was not aware of this series whe it first aired. I only became aware of it last month when a friend lent me the series on DVD. What an amazing series and interesting story lines. Great actors as well. My family and I have watched each show a couple of times now and are very saddended that there are no more episodes to watch.
Please make my family of 7 happy and bring back the series. Long live Firefly and Serenity.

I Just finished watching the series (On Hulu) and the movie (From Blockbuster). Now I've ordered the DVD. This show was quite compelling. I actually managed to get caught up in it. Sad to see that quite a bit of pure trash manages to get season after season on networks like Fox and the like but a great show like this dies. I'd happily watch this show and buy the soap that the advertisements sell.

I haven't watched the fox channel since Firefly was canceled. It wasn't given a fair chance to succeed. Forget about the sci-fi aspect...it was all about the characters. Bring the show back!

What can I say... I re-watch Firefly and Serenity over and over again... Fox, I appeal for your conscience. Do not follow the example of George Lucas and interrupt the ellegant and romantic show for sixteen years.

Get this splendid series back. How can so much crap survive the air waves and Firefly which is pure beauty be taken of. The people responsible have no **** clue what they are doing.

This is not the first time when I hear about this kind of petition. The first time when I heard about it was when I was on a trip with the Norwegian Cruise Line. I must say that I really appreciate the one who came out this idea. He would deserve a special prize for this. Congratulations to him and the team that has helped him make this project come true.

The only thing I can say is, How did I miss this Program when it first came to TV. I finally started watching it around 2 years or so ago when it played on the Sci Fi channel. I was waiting for new episodes when I found out it had been cancelled after the first season. I'd love to see the show brought back or at least more movies made. It was so easy to be drawn into the characters lives and the interplay between them. I definitely feel this showended before its time.

Bring it back its awesome, fox don't be dumb, you dropped Family Guy and brought it back and I think that worked out pretty well

This was such a fantastic series and movie! Get it back into production people!

i didn't hear about firefly until some years after it had been made, however being a huge fan of joss whedon's other works, i immediately watched the dvds and to me it is unfathomable as to why it was cancelled. Firefly was a great show from a brilliant mind.

I love space adventure. I have always dreamed of having my own spaceship and having a bunch of adventures. So, here is my vote. Serenity brings my imagination on screen. Bring Serenity, Firefly class spaceship, back in production! Hell Yeah! :-)

i only discovered firefly after the fact, so i wish i had been in there earlier with another few million people in the same boat, then it may not have been cancelled. but sadly it was cancelled. it as far and away the best sci fi series i have ever had the privelage to watch. in fact as far as tv is concerned it has the whole package. it is unbelievable that the powers that be are so out of touch with what the customers want that they "cant see the wood because of the trees" Firefly was beautifully written and transferred onto screen, it has no peers. baybe the problem is that there is no place for canned laughter in the show, the humour is ironic and real, everyday stuff. lord i would be so happy to see the show resurrected from an altogether premature demise....Frank

Who said the Reavers don't exist?? They're called network bosses. Lets see...we'll show the episodes out of order, then we'll put in out on a non-prime time slot and starve it of promotion and if it doesn't make the ratings it must clearly be bad so we'll kill it after 11 episodes. These geniuses can surely justify their 7-figure salaries. Josh - please talk to HBO or anyone who might have an eye for a hit show with a guaranteed audience.

Just got into it and the series should not have been cancelled. Please stop removing good fun programmes from our screens!

Loved the movie, just found out about the series. Bought the DVD's and I'm half way through....and the series is even better!
