i pledge to do all that i can to remove the notion of federal authority from the mindset of all i encounter and explain to those individuals that it is federal responsibility that our constitution describes. that document is very explicit when it describes a public authority. i pledge to do all that i can to explain that our republic was destroyed following the civil war and replaced with a democracy. a simple way to consider this is that before the war our nation was referred to as 'the United States are...' and afterward it was referred to as 'the United States is...'. that simple change in terminology redifined our national demeanor and perseption. i pledge to explain that due to the constitutional limitations imposed on the federal government we must seek to undo all illegal Acts and Amendments passed after 1865. i pledge to help to end the false notion that 'my vote does not count.' it is a vote not cast that does not count. it is the lack of voting that allowed the authority of the people to shift into the hands of the government. this list of pledges goes on and on and on but can be summarized in one simple statement... i pledge to elect Ron Paul for president find out more at www.RonPaul2008.com |
