The loss of Firefly was a travesty to the Sci-Fi community. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRING IT BACK!!!! Firefly IS an incredible show! There are so many unanswered questions and so many potential storylines that this show could easily run for two more seasons. We as a support group need to do more visually! The petition is a very good start, but how about two conventions - one East Coast and one West Coast, a month apart with a hand-signed pettiton brought to both conventions and hand delivered to Joss Whedon and a WB representative. Let them know how serious we are! I have been a fan since the first episode on fox, and i haven't turned back. i have watched the whole series back to front over and over. I went and saw Serenity four times in the movie theater. The show and movie are a perfect combination of director, actors and origionality. TheWB.com has been relaunched as of August 27th 2008, one of the series they are streaming is Firefly. Let EVERYONE know that Firefly can be seen there and hopefully it will bring in more Browncoats, as of the 28th there are only the first five episodes available on the site. I was introduced to Firefly by my ex-boyfriend and I fell in love with the characters and the storylines. I cried when Wash and Shepard were killed off. Shepard, I kind of expected when I saw he wasn't on the ship anymore, but Wash, complete shock!! Some of us need to find out what happened to everybody else. What happens with the "hands of blue, two by two" thing? What happens with the Reevers and the Alliance now that the verse knows about Miranda? We need answers to these questions and we need them now!!!! I'm in whole-hearted agreement. I loved the show and each time I watch Serenity I love it more and more as well. I have to admit that I don't have high hopes that they will bring it back, but I'll certainly do what I can to try and help out. I mean after all, look what they did with Farscape... yikes. I love this show. It was ten times better than any of the reality tv shows we seem flooded with now. I realize that reality tv is cheap to make but tv produce need to realize for the most part it's just cheap television. I have almost completely stopped watching the major broadcasters like NBC, ABC, FOX and the like because all so many of their shows suck. But I will watch any station that put out more Firefly and I would definitely go to see any sequel to Serenity. When will the Networks learn what people really like? I heard about the series through my dad. We got every episode from Netfilx and watched them in order and then watched the movie..OMG they so can no cancel this..Fox royally screwed things up I tell ya. I hope beyond hope that our favorites come back for another season. That would be awsome. Please bring back Firefly. Great characters, River is more intriguing than any Hero and the ship's engine just rocks. Why make crap when you can Firefly? One of the best TV shows of all time, deserves another shot Loading People... |
