Eli Stone

ABC did not want this show to succeed. It should have rerun shows from last season to build up to the new one to let new viewers know the history. ABC has no interest in providing quality entertainment. They only want to promote mindless shows that don't cost them as much money(no matter how bad the show is). Back to NBC for me!
Eli Stone is such a new, different way of doing a show, that even if the plot wasn't as good as it is, it would be worth saving. They were able to combine musical numbers along with questions of faith, issues of dealing with a terminal illness, dilemmas between family, friends, and coworkers and most importantly modern-day ethical/legal dilemmas, which really need to have a dialogue, were given voice on the show. This show was able to provide all those things, without retreading any of the previous clichés of law and order type shows (nor its confederates). On top of that they managed to make every episode funny, interesting and emotionally challenging to the audience. And honestly how many other shows on television, have managed to include, as an integral part of their plot, entertaining and over-the-top musical interludes involving the main cast. This show is so unique and good that it seems the height of stupidity for any network to it let go.
Eli Stone is the greatest show. I love the characters and the message is wonderful. Eli makes me feel good. Please keep it on!!!
SAVE THIS SHOW!!! ... Eli Stone is the one show that I looked forward to watching each week. It made me smile. For the entire episode. No fail. A shock that ABC would really cancel this show.
PLEEEEASSE!!!! DONT GET RID OF THE ACTUAL ENTERTAINMENT ON TV THESE DAYS. I love this show, along with Pushing Daisies, My own worst enemy. there are few shows on tv these days that are not "reality" tv shows, which are very annoying. just because viewings are down when the show airs, doesnt mean fans dont go watch it online as soon as they get the chance. keep this show, its one of the only worthwhile hours of tv left!
I like Eli Stone - the second season is improving on the weaknesses of the first although I did not agree with buring his Dad's journal and the mysterious bad things supposedly in it. I really appreciate the good guys winning over the bad guys and the reconnection between Jordan and eli and how Eli saved them from the building collapse - a good flow of the sevelopment of the ongoing story - and a very interesting show. ABC should keep it.
The American Society of Pediatrics has pushed to cancell eli stone - because of an episode that has truth to it from many sources. However, the episode orientation is in line with the theme of the show and ABC practiced free speech and did nothing tht was not oriented with already documented information.
I have to say I'm getting pretty disappointed at the major studios. For the last 2 years I have invested time in several shows that I thought were good, original and worth watching. How last year was messed up, but I think the major networks are far to quick to pull the plug. So ABC has decided to pull the plug on Eli Stone!!!! This is one of the most interesting, funny and original shows to come along in a while. Well I guess I'm left no choice but to pull the plug on ABC and not bother investing any more time in future shows that they produce. What's the point. I hear the library has lots of good books......
There is so much garbage on broadcast TV and there is hardly anything I can even watch with my family. Eli Stone is one exception. Why can't we keep decent shows that don't revolve around sex and violence.
