(BSL) Breed Specific Legislation should be stopped. There is no definitive proof that certain breeds are genetically violent toward humans. The CDC has based their research partially on media reports and misidentification. These reports do not fully investigate what all the factors are on the dogs involved. They do not research whether the dog was attacking do to abuse or lack of socialization. They do not include all breeds of dogs.

Any breed of dog can be vicious.

This is a petition to stop all Breed Specific Legislation.

I am serious about this. If I get enough people, I will make an official written petition for you all to sign and I will send it to the federal government and to the state governments, if I get enough people from the same state.

Fight for those who cannot defend themselves.

HATE THE DEED NOT THE BREED!!! When someone is murdered you punish the gun or the man behind the gun??? Don't ban the breed for the humans deed.... Stop BSL...

The problem here is, they have to ban the breed because it happens to be the breed that people use in dog fights. the only way to protect the aminal and people is to ban the dog. sorry it has to be that way but it makes sense.

Its stupid that those innocent people have to be judged just because they may own a pitbull or another dog that has been targeted towards agressivness. The aggressivness comes from bad owners! Not the animals!!!

Of course! Why would we blame something on people that we could just as easily blame on animals? Dogs that are vicious and mean are that way because people train them to be that way. Get rid of the REAL problem, not innocent animals.

bans on breeds are despicable & cruel. the city of Denver is an example of how close-minded, uneducated individuals could impose their fears and ignorance by murdering 1,000's if innocent pit-bulls. Denver- lift the ban and educate the public instead!!!!!

This is discrimination at it's highest "low" level, especially in intelligence, everyone knows that middles sized dogs, and even standard sized poodles can maim and bite even quicker than Rotts, Pitts, German Shephards and so on and so forth. Ask any deliver person and they will tell you it is the "ankle biters" that will nail you first!!! This is against our basic rights as humans. There are no bad dogs, only bad owners!!!!! Next they will be taking our guns away if we let them get away with this crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Act now or be sorry later.

I dnt hve a pit but to see any animal put down and judged based on a few that were fighting. This problem is not the dogs the (crual)owners of this dogs are the ones that should be punished not the dog. Most ppl that hve these dogs raise them right and they act fine. Love and Care give that to an animal and it will love u but if ur crual to it then it results in the problem the government think is happening with these animals

I am fighting for my dog now..They are trying to Evict me from my house beacouse of what type of breed I have...my dog is seven months old..I have had no issues with him..I pay my bills every month on time...but becouse of what breed of dog I have..I am ready with attorneys if they serve me the papers (as they have told me but not served me yet) It is not in my lease and I 5 other people have pits in my area and what your going to evict all of us?? I have had pits all my life I know how to raise my dog...there the best friends you'll ever had...My kids can't beat without there dog so if the dog goes we go....PUNISH THE DEED NOT THE BREED
