A Led Zeppelin Tour without Robert Plant?

Issue:

As we all know, Robert Plant has committed himself to projects and priorities other than Led Zeppelin. His band mates are ready to tour, but they're not getting any younger. It isn't fair for Robert to hold up a world tour, or outright refuse to commit to a world tour, when his band mates and fans are ready for one.

Belief:

IF ROBERT PLANT DOESN'T COMMIT TO A ZEPPELIN WORLD TOUR BY SEPTEMBER 2008, would it be good for Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones to start looking for a new vocalist OR go on tour without him ?

YES! Led Zeppelin band members should start looking for a new vocalist TODAY.

Don't replace him. Just tour "unplugged" without him.

led zeppelin w.o robert plant isnt led zeppelin at all!
thats like guns and roses with out axle rose.

Well it's pretty easy to fix, Jimmy should announce that he is negotiating with Mr Coverdale as vocalist, if you remember it didn't take Robert too long to get back with Jimmy after the Page/Coverdale album was released

I saw page playing with the black crows( the video's on the net)and it really was strong, still i'd rather see the two old mates together, but the black crows singer 's voice reaches higher pitch than r. Plant's.

He says he: "sang his nuts off" and says it was weird that the "personality of the audience has changed from those days when everybody was in the same condition as the band. Now it was more like the 68th wonder of the world rather than a gig. So I felt a bit embarrassed."

Embarassed? Embarassed to sing his songs to THREE generations of FANS? That's low.

i've been a zeppelin fan for 30 something years. was a big lose with john bonham with no robert plant there is no led zeppelin

I can't see someone else singing Stairway to Heaven besides Robert, but it's more accurate to say if there were no JIMMY PAGE, there would be no Led Zeppelin.

Now that Plant has a platinum album and a Grammy with Alison K, we'll never see him anytime soon! I hope I'm wrong, but it ain't lookin' good...
