Planet Rock has been SAVED.....

This is the best news we've heard, since the dark days of 11th Feb 2008, when GCap made their original announcement and quite literally, well over 500,000 loyal listeners heard that THEIR favourite radio station would be shut within 6 weeks.

But now: the people have spoken, a White Knight has come forth as the Peoples Champion and the station has been SAVED....!

Planet Rock is helping to educate my two boys, and my (one) wife on the many virtues of real music. Fingers crossed it's saved in some guise....please...

Plant Rock is the only station I listen to, its on all day at work. What will Saturdays be like without Rik Wakeman? Doesn't bare thinking about.!!

Planet Rock is the only decent classic rock station I listen to, its on all day at work, and its the only station to play great music from the earlier years.

Please don't let it close, I'll really miss having breakfast with Alice Cooper!

save the best station in the world. keep up the good work lads. ian stone london

This Can Not Be!!!!!

Planet Rock is the only place where I can here the kind of music I grew up listening to. I love that it involves the listeners in so many different ways, allowing us to pick what gets played. How many other radio stations do that?

For these two reasons alone, amongst mny, many more we cannot let Planet Rock go

Bought a DAB radio last year, actually got 3 now - 1 in kitchen, bedroom and a portable for work. Planet Rock is the only reason I'm glad I did, it's the only channel I listen to.If PL goes, I've got 3 expensive paperweights. Keep Planet Rock please.

I bought Dab radio for one reason only! Thats Planet Rock! we all need Planet Rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
