Persian Gulf or Arabian Gulf?

Issue:

The Gulf that borders Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Oman, in Western countries it is called Persian Gulf, in most Arab countries it is called Arabian Gulf.  In the 1960s, some Arab states started using the name Arabian Gulf. This is very controversial, and not commonly used outside of the Arab world, nor is it recognized by the United Nations and other international organizations. 

Belief:

However, Google Earth has started to use "Arabian Gulf" along with Persian Gulf in the latest version of Google Earth.

hi arabian people..i am from iran and even sorry for you because you dont have even p(پ),sia or zh(ژ),g(گ),in your alphabet,then how can you say persian gulf..when you want to call persian gulf you cant because you dont have these in your alphabet then you have to be mute ok? ..it is so laughing,,hahahah....

It'a ALWAYS been Persian Gulf.

UAE, Bahrain, and all those little Arabic Countries werre parts of Iran until about 50 years ago or so. Arabs can't buy history with money. It's plain laughable!! ha ha ha

A nation bearing several thousands years of civilization like Iran and a country like United Arab Emirates whose age does not exceed some decades, which one do Yahoo directors think is more logical?
It should be mentioned that during Achamenids Egypt was under Iran's hegemony for 200years and Suez canal was established at the best of Dariush the great.

I don't know what is the meaning of this game! The HISTORY is HISTORY and never be changed. the PERSIAN GULF is the only name of this Gulf and this is so funny because Arab world is a part of PERSIAN history...! thus PERSIAN GULF is PERSIAN GULF.
