Blood Ties fans all over the world banded together to donate glasses for the Lions Club. May was the Lions Club "Recycle for Sight" month and the Blood Ties fans donated over 200 pairs of prescription glasses & sunglasses, Non-prescription sunglasses and reading glasses.

Vicki Nelson, the lead character on Blood Ties, was the inspiration for this campagin. Vicki wears glasses and is contending with a degenerative eye disease.

blood ties helped lifetime bring younger viewers i am 12yrs old and when blood ties started all i watched was lifetime without blood ties there is no reason for me to watch it

I read on E! that they may film the second season of Blood Ties.
The creator is all for it, and the cast are on board, it's just money issues apparently.
We should bombard the networks to sign it up, and then.. it would be back.

I am a new fan of the show, but I watched all 22 episodes over the course of two days because I loved it so much! It is a great show with phenomenal actors! This cannot be where the series ends! No! It can't be! Please bring it back! I need to know more!

Blood ties is one of the most intriguing, exciting shows on TV today! Lifetime, why are you cancelling this? After reading all the pledges from fans begging for the show to continue, it would seem to be a very poor decision indeed to continue with the cancellation. Why would you want to alienate any of your TV viewer base? I'm sure that many viewers feel the same as I do. I would seriously have second thoughts on tuning in to Lifetime to watch anything, especially since you seem to be willing to disregard the opinions of the viewers who help support Lifetime by tuning in each week. I urge you to reinstate Blood Ties!!!

I just love this show ever since it started in 2007 ,lets just say it is a hell of a good tv show ,because of all the action, romance,and good actors it would be a just heart breaking for it not to be a season 3 so let season 3 begin...it would sure fill me up with happiness wouldnt you?

Blood ties, wow, the name says it all. This show is captivating, filled with a good looking vamp, and an ideal woman role model who kick ass and make your Blood rush, wanting more. So there should definately be a Season 3 of Blood Ties, who doesn't want a deadly and vivacious, teeth sinking, joyride?

the blood ties series is the best vamp show i have ever seen. The story lines are great. the actors mack it so belevable. I can't put to words how much i need it to go on. thank u

So I go online today and see that Blood Ties is #18 on the Neilson list even after being cancelled. FYI, Moonlight is #1. What do the stations have against vampire shows?

It's time to let the stations know that we are still loyal to this show. The need to know we haven't forgotten. Please sign these three petitions if we can get a ton of signatures maybe we'll at least get a finale instead of a cliffhanger.

I would say contact lifetime so they will bring it back but they have made their choice and, the in the words of our favorite vamp, So Be It.

We need to flood them with E-mails, snail mail, faxes, update your own blogs and spaces to spread the word. Go to every Blood Ties forum and site you can think of and spread the word. Copy and paste this message where ever you can.

This will be posted in a lot of place on the net so I apologize if you've seen this post already!
