Description:

The NewHope Foundation needs your help to fight poverty. You ask how do we do this? Simple. Educate, provide shelter, train for work, help them take steps to becomming self suffiencient.

We house abused women and children, struggling parents, to help insure a better chance of employment so they can begin and understand about paying taxes to help other people. We currently provide them with interview suits, child care and support groups.

Our funds are now low and we need your help to continue because I know God is holding your heart in his hand and you will do what you can to help us continue. Other people lives are in your hand. I am so concerned because it could have been me and it could have been you .

i even wrote a paper on poverty and the homeless, and i got an a, i believe that everyone needs a second chance to never go to poverty

i've worked with community mental health and the salvation army in michigan...working with others stereotyped and thought of as no good, when they were and could do something awesome if they just had help and a second chance. let's band together to do this for other people. we all need help now and again, right? this is a fabulous organization that breaks the ignorance barrier and DOES something for amazing people just needing the help. the truth is: not many people are comfortable asking for the help, but when they muster up the courage, they are blessed ten-fold. we need to learn from each other and work together to form a healthy society. that takes everyone.

If you have two legs two hands and a head on your shoulders you don't need any help especially in US all you need is a desire to change your life there are a lot of well paid jobs that don't require a college degree, it's not Africa, India or China after all right?

Well then tell me how a abused 3 and four year old can get a job? You tell me how can a person with a mental or physical illness GET A "WELL" paid job if no one assist them? Now let me ask YOU A PERSONAL question you may get upset with me but I'm going to tell the truth. How would you feel if that was your daughter, mother, sister or brother? You would want someone to help them and get mad if they won't. So you are telling me is that as long as they are not YOUR family they get it how they can? I personally know people that have TWO HANDS AND TWO FEET, BUT STILL NEED A HELPING HAND TO GET ON TRACK.I WILL DO ALL I CAN TO HELP THEM, MAYBE YOUR JUST NOT ONE OF THEM THAT THEY CAN DEPEND ON AND THAT IS FINE IT'S NOT FOR EVERYBODY. THIS IS FOR THE FEW THAT CAN HEAR. YOU ALSO TELL ME WHICH JOBS SPECIFICALLY YOU CAN GET WITHOUT A COLLEGE DEGREE AND LIVE WELL WITH A WOMEN WITH THREE KIDS NO BABYSITTER DAYCARE FOR ALL THREE IS ABOUT $1200 PER MONTH $400 EACH? THAT'S HER WHOLE CHECK IF SHE GETS THAT.
A DESIRE AND DETERMINATION ARE TWO DIFFRENT THINGS YOU CAN DESIRE TO BE A MILLIONAIRE AND NEVER GET THERE, BUT IF YOU ARE DETERMINED AND YOU FIND THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO HELP YOU YOU WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO BECOME IT NOT JUST DESIRE IT.
IF THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD JOBS YOU CAN GET WITHOUT A DEGREE CAN YOU TELL ME WHY ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE GOING TO COLLEGE? IF THERE WERE SO MANY JOBS YOU CAN GET WITHOUT A DEGREE WHY ARE THEY GOING TO SCHOOL?
DID YOU GO TO COLLEGE?
THEN WHY? YOU CAN GET A GOOD JOB WITHOUT A DEGREE CAN'T YOU?
I have seen other people become successful starting their own buisness, but for a buisness you have to have a plan sometimes it goes up and sometimes it goes down.they still need someone to encourage them so they can succeed. That's what we do.This is not about a debate. I am willing to help someone else mother, father, sister or brother.One thing I wanted to mention if you give someone a second chance at life and they do succeed I know within me without a shadow of doubt If something ever happened to any of my kids someone will give them a second chance because I gave it so someone else's child.

The New Hope Foundation serves to not only offer a second chance, but gives courage to their residents to get back in life and learn how to bounce back from personal mistakes. Pledging to ensure our continued existence will help give someone a second chance. Thank you in advance,

I thank God for the New Hope Foundation, here in Tallahassee, FL. They are truly a blessing by giving me a second chance. Please help in supporting us so that someone else might have an oppurtunity in having a second chance as well.

New Hope Foundation has been a big help to the Tallahassee area. The Foundation has network with other programs in the community to help those in need. I'M so proud of the accomplishments that they have achieved. Please be a big help to this foundation. Aldrea Nicholson,BSW
